The World Orienteering Championships start on Friday 12 July in Edinburgh, Scotland.

WOC 2023 SELECTION ANNOUNCEMENT
The SAOF is pleased to announce the following selections of athletes to represent South Africa at WOC in Switzerland in July.
Men: Brian Gardner, Michael Crone and Carl Holmes who was selected for the 2024 WOC Clinic.
Women: Sarah Wimberley
The 2023 WOC is a forest championship and will take place in the Flims Laax area of Switzerland from 11 to 16 July. We wish the Senior SA team all the best in Switzerland.
The SAOF is pleased to announce that applications for the 2023 National Senior and Junior Squads are open. Here are the updated Selection Policy and Seasonal Selection Policy.
In the Selection Policy you will find the definition of the various national squads. The Seasonal Selection Policy document outlines our plans for 2023 and includes important dates and information. At the back of the Seasonal Selection Policy document, you will find the squad application form.
