National Squads

National Junior and Senior Squads

The country’s top performing orienteers make up the Junior and Senior National Squads. The Youth National Squad targets promising youngsters with the potential to do well at Junior level.  The Development Squad targets all promising orienteer’s from a PDI background with the potential to do well at Youth, Junior or Senior level.

Members of the Junior and Senior Teams are selected from the Squads to represent South Africa internationally at the World Orienteering Championships and World Cup.’
