SAOF 2019 Squad Applications Open

The SAOF selection committee wishes to advise that the 2019 selection documents have been published and are available here https://www.orienteering.co.za/high-performance/hp-policies/ An important extract from those documents is set out below Athletes interested in being members of the National Senior and Junior Squads will be required to apply for squad membership at the beginning of each season. Application forms must be submitted on or before 5 December 2018 National Youth and Development Squad membership will be extended automatically to suitable athletes at the discretion of the Selection Committee. No application process is required.

The SAOF, in line with the objectives and goals described in the SAOF’s High Performance Strategic Plan, aims to provide the 2018 JWOC team with a qualified coach and suitable manager during the event. Applications are now open and will close on the 8th March 2018. More details available here
