The IOF has a Code of Ethics aimed at preserving the integrity and reputation of the IOF and IOF events. The code applies to all federations (full or provisional members) as well as to the IOF Council and all elected, appointed or contracted IOF employees, volunteers and organizing committees for IOF events, including their officials and volunteers. The Code also applies to officials and volunteers at IOF- sanctioned member events, athletes, coaches, trainers, doctors, team staff, team officials, all other persons claiming or seeking standing as present or prospective participants in any IOF activity.
The course is free to everyone and consists of 14 different lessons with text and video clips – all with a short quiz in the end. It is a great opportunity to update the knowledge on key fair play issues before, during and after a race for everyone.
The course is useful for orienteers of all ages. It is particularly recommended for youths and juniors with ambitions of participating in international events.
